1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the Grow-Link platform, website, and any related services (together, the “Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and Disclaimer. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Third-party information

Grow-Link aggregates and displays information from a range of third-party sources, including but not limited to accommodation providers, universities, funders, employers, public bursary databases, government listings, and other external platforms. This information is provided for convenience and general reference only.

We do not check, verify, endorse, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness, reliability, currency, or legality of any third-party data made available through the Platform. The presence of any listing, opportunity, residence, funder, or other information does not mean that Grow-Link has validated it.

Users should always independently verify any information before acting on it, especially where financial, legal, academic, accommodation, or safety decisions are involved.

3. No liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Grow-Link and its directors, employees, agents, partners, and affiliates accept no liability whatsoever for any loss, damage, claim, expense, or harm of any kind arising out of or in connection with:

• your use of, or inability to use, the Platform;
• any third-party information, content, or listings displayed on the Platform;
• any decision or action you take based on information found on the Platform;
• any dealings, agreements, or disputes between you and any third party introduced or connected through the Platform;
• any technical issues, interruptions, errors, viruses, or security breaches affecting the Platform; and
• any other matter relating to the Platform or these terms.

This limitation applies whether the claim is based on contract, delict, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such loss or damage.

4. User responsibility

Users remain solely and entirely responsible for their own decisions, actions, and outcomes when using the Platform. You must satisfy yourself of the accuracy and suitability of any information before relying on it, and you must comply with all applicable laws, rules, institutional policies, and contractual obligations when interacting with other users or third parties through the Platform.

Students, providers, funders, employers, and other users are responsible for ensuring that any information they submit to the Platform is accurate, complete, and lawful. Grow-Link is not responsible for verifying user-submitted content.

5. Consent to third-party sharing

By using the Platform, you consent to Grow-Link sharing your information with third parties where this is necessary for matching, verification, and decision-making. This includes sharing information with accommodation providers, universities, bursary funders, employers, and service providers in connection with applications, allocations, funding, opportunities, maintenance, and asset verifications.

When you create an account, you are asked to confirm this consent explicitly. Your consent is recorded with a timestamp and version. You may withdraw your consent by closing your account, but information already shared with a third party in connection with an active process may continue to be used by that third party under its own terms and policies.

6. Shared responsibility

The Grow-Link platform provides infrastructure, tools, and connectivity. Where the platform surfaces data or enables connections between users and third parties, the actual products, services, funding, accommodation, or employment remain the responsibility of the relevant third-party provider or user. Grow-Link is a platform operator, not a party to those relationships.

7. Intellectual property

All content, branding, software, and materials on the Platform are owned by or licensed to Grow-Link and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Platform without our prior written consent.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use and Disclaimer from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the Platform after any changes means you accept the updated terms.
